Absolute hero spec! Love it! Still yet to see an M6 GC on the road, there's a White Coupe M6 local to me and I think that is the only one I've seen!
As already mentioned above the latest M6 is leaps and bounds above the old one. The old one is not a looker at all, enjoy! |

A bit speechless really. That is gorgeous! I agree, the GC looks better than the coupe but only on the six series.

Ok, just posting a couple of quick photos whilst on the train. BMW seem masters of the uncluttered analogue dash. The M6 even has a beautiful uncluttered mph only speedo without the usual kmh markings (i thought additional kmh markings was an EU requirement?), anyway, lovely IMO, a million times better than the cheap, plastic, shiny, Halfords-parts-bin disaster in the E63 . The reflection and glare is only on the photo, not in reality.
And I've got the carbon exhaust sleeves fitted in place of the chrome ones, sorry it's grubby. Last edited by doughboy; 01-12-2016 at 02:11 AM.. |

Bet you can't wait for that clock to hit 1200 in time for some better weather.
This is one of my favourite cars. Seems like such a good package for the money too. |

3rd and 4th will be the only gears you need in this car! It drives the socks of the E63, makes that feel like an ageing barge. It feels as lively as the old 335i did, remarkable for a near 2 tonne car. It shrinks around you as you speed up. Can't wait for spring to arrive.... It is a great gearbox. I don't like autos at all and didn't get on with the E63 'box, but the entertainment level of the M-DCT goes a long way to making up for the lack of clutch pedal. The S3 shifts are so quick the next gear bangs home BEFORE you've finished pulling the paddle fully back. It catches you out if you're not prepared. The wife will hate it.
On the other hand the D1 auto shifts are so smooth they are almost imperceptible. Also the Pilot Super Sports are incredible in the wet and cold, I can't imagine what they'll be like in the dry with some heat in them. I've been a Conti 5P fan on the E63 and the 335i, but these Michelins are something else. |
