Help! Please....
Hey guys,
Was driving my car about an hour a go and the "flat tyre" icon appeared on my display out of nowhere, don't know where or how or what wheel I got the puncture in! Now I have to replace the tyre!! I have an 08 msport coupe with the 225 19" alloys on the standard bridgestone runflats! I was thinking of changing all the tyres to non runflats but I have no idea what size/ type of non runflat I should be changing too?? Also will it change the look of the car due to the car being on non runflats? If anyone could help me guys I would be really grateful as I don't know what to do and need to decide quickly! Thanks a million |

Have you checked all the tyres? Don't put too much faith in the icon
Mine came on the other day, I checked the tyres - all ok. I then drove 450 miles to wales & back with no issue

Don't buy anything before you've checked!

Check all 4 corners with a gague against the information inside your door. If OK then reset the run flat system.
I found that the flat icon came on when the the rears got to 2 bar or below I know its a pain in the arse but with low pro wheels (not sure what size your wheels are) you need to check the tyre pressure every 3 weeks or so or you will loose your inner edge. This also goes for non run-flat. |
