Adaptive headlights - changing codings?

I was playing around with NCS Dummy and my FRM readout, and I came across some interesting options. I was wondering if anybody have tried altering those..

MAX_SW_SCHWENK_V_HORIZ

According to NCS Dummy on my car it is coded to 19.04 deg/s, but it looks like you can alter this to 23.88 deg/sec.(I suppose that MAX_SCHWENK_V_H_BEGR also need to be set to 23.88 deg/sec in order to work?)

I used to have an Opel Insignia with AFL - and they moved far quicker than on the BMW - where they are close to useless..

Any body tried to code to 23.88 deg/sec?

The same goes for

MAX_SW_SCHWENK_V_VERTI

It is set for 2.246 deg/sec, but it looks like it can be altered to 16.65 deg/sec.

Anybody tried to change those?

I'm interested in hearing feedback about this, too.

I'm willing to bet that this is the Adaptive "Sport" setting. I've tried to make it stick on my 07 e91 without success.

I've driven a '10 X3 M edition and the headlights move MUCH more quickly and are actually really good on windy roads. The earlier e9x is not so good.

If you get this working I will be VERY interested to tweak these settings. Keep us updated on your progress.

I have only seen CCC so I can't comment on that, but my car was fully updated by the dealer recently and honestly I never noticed it until a few months ago.

So I just drove a 2010 X3 M edition and the lights steer MUCH faster than my 2007 e91.

Would love to see the files from the 2010 if anyone has one they can pull the coding from.

I'm looking for someone in Seattle who may be able to tweak these settings and I'll report back.

I only have Carly and my laptop is running linux for work so it ain't going to get a windows VM any time soon.

If anyone in Seattle wants to try it out with me, let's make it happen.

I have just replaced my car's headlights from the Xenon with black inners to adaptive.
currently searching for someone to code them. is it really hard or doable?
also i dont see the lens going down and retain position at car start, is this normal?
ofcourse totally interested about getting them to move faster as well

Is it possible to just turn adaptive headlights off? My left headlight will sometimes get stuck looking far left, and you have to restart the car a few times to get it to go away.

Remove $524 from your VO & recode your frm in expertmode. Make sure your headlights are where you want them before you do.

Awesome, thank you sir! If it starts happening anymore frequently I'll disable the adaptive. Luckily I don't drive anywhere on a day-to-day where they come in too much handy.

Can you confirm exactly which changes were made for successfully increasing the speed? I'm curious if there is any tradeoff in terms of longevity of the system, etc.
