Back in the fall of 1986, my pops bought me a 1986 Pontiac Grand-Am LE during my Jr year in HS.
The first car I ever bought myself was a brand new 1998 Nissan Maxima SE 5-speed pearl white. Loved the quickness of that little sedan. On a side note, about 10 years ago, I took over ownership of my pop's 1983 380 SL Mercedes which he bought new. It's been with the family for the past 28 years. Talk about sentimental value.

2000 ford ranger extended cab. I put the Roush Racing exhaust system on it and it sounded pretty nice. 5 speed manual but it was soooo slow. It was a really nice truck until it got hit twice while parked On campus at school. My BMW is definitely a huge night and day difference from that thing.

My uncle sold me his '64 Pontiac Grand Prix for $1.00 2 years after I was out of college. It lasted 2 years and till it broke down on the Southern State Parkway. Then I bought my first new car....a '69 Super Beetlle.

Man, 3 Chevelles in this post. Impressive. Turned 16 in '98 and driving a 70s muscle car to school got all the guy's attention and none of the girl's. Opinions of the guys, "Seriously man, coolest car ever", not to mention I took half of the male faculty around the block. Replies from the ladies, "Why did you want an old car?" as they drove away in their automatic,V6, convertible Mustang, blasting Next's "Too Close".

My first car was a monster!
A Honda 600 Sedan. Honda's best effort to copy the original Mini Cooper. This is the best picture I could find. An Air-cooled, two-cylinder SOHC with a whooping 36.5 cubic inches! Come to think of it, it might be a nice car to have now considering where gas prices are going. |
