Need help Purchased a 2009 x5 35d not running with several modules not responding

Hello all. I am new to this forum. I purchased this 2009 x5 35d that was not running. The previous owner purchased it running and within a couple times driving it it quit running. What I don't understand the dealer told him he needed a new intake and dpf. But also said the modules could not be read due to a bad jbe. I tried reading the codes but also came up with vehicle not recognized. I sent the jbe out and had it repaired. I just purchased ISTA+ and ista p and this is what I came up with. Has anyone had a similar problem or have any recommendations for me. Hopefully the photo is attached but all 7 modules on the right have no response. I did also purchased a ICOM for programming. Any help would be much appreciated

No evidence anywhere of flood damage. No water on jbe or fuse block or in dme box

Since you said that JBE was sent off for repair .. I assume there was an issue with it.. Right now you don't have any PT-can comm that comes from the JBE.. You can get the schematics for JBE (or anything else you are looking for) in ISTA+ (you don't need to connect to vehicle just go operations/new/vin and enter last seven of vin), go to vehicle management/troubleshooting/text search and enter jbe

Then you can select ABL Supply, junction box electronic (JBE)

You will get this this page with info and schematics (might help you with tracing pt-can) .. One thing to note is check fuse f124...

You can click on that fuse box in the schematics and see the location (in the trunk) ...

I would start there, maybe when the JBE went bad it blew that fuse..

Thank you for responding. When I purchased the vehicle no obd scanner would read the vehicle at all. Not even what type of vehicle. When I received the jbe back I could read and see the faults. Would you recommend reprogramming the jbe module by itself in ista p

You can try doesn't seem like it would hurt, I don't have any programming experience though.. I personally don't think it is software.. Do you have access to another JBE to see if that clears up your issue, should be plug and play..
