Auto transmission upgrades??

Please excuse me if this is a dumb question, im new in the whole "car" game. I have been a big fan of modding diesel trucks throughout college, however my job calls for a car now. i just bought a 07 335i last week and i want to start modding it. It has an auto tranny and i want to know what all is out there to help beef it up. The first thing that i would do to all my trucks was to rebuild the transmission before heavily modding the engine. I have been doing a lot of research online but there isnt much on auto transmissions for the 335i. Please help if you know anyone that might have some auto upgrades or a good website to go to. Thanks.

It seems like the automatic transmission in these cars is pretty strong. Plenty of people on here run the standard bolt-on's with a tune with little issue.

first off congrats on the new ride, you will enjoy!! modding this car is sooo much fun because we see tremendous gains.. I would recommend you just get an LSD which will ensure max/equal power is being put down to both wheels at the same time.. look at a Quaife or WaveTrac.. our tranny's are pretty tough!

thanks for the quick response, i have seen some LSD's. ill definately look into that. so you think i should be ok with a tune/ exhaust, and intake without chewing up the tranny?
