Alternately, if someone wants to host this tank, and if we can get enough volume between a few of us, and have some sort of E85 club, I'd be down with that.

Theirs a guy with a large tank on the northshore. A few friends with 1000+whp GTRs and Supras get the e85 from him. Ill see if I can get his info for you.

Sup Ryan, this is Richard. We have the AW e92 that's always with Brandon from eas. If its possible I'd lock that car up and keep it until you can play with it again. You've done a lot to it, would be a pain to start over.

However, lmk if you do end up taking some parts off. Might be interested in the mirror caps and headlights lol.

I might be embarrassed going up there with my little beamer trying to make 400 whp while they're making 1000+whp, though. For now, the FlexFuel station decommissioned all the regular gas pumps, but the E85 is still operational as of this past Sunday. It kinda sucks, though, because so far, I've been able to run 50% ethanol without a problem, and the station is pumping out 70% right now. Which basically means they're mixing it with more low quality gas into it (BTW, it can be as low as 70% and still be called E85 - they seasonally adjust the mix for vapor pressure, also), and I need to add more, i.e. keep more on hand to get my mix right.

My friend said this is legit E85, nothing like the crappy stuff in BR that's basically E70. I don't use this but I trust them if they put it in the 1000+whp cars. They also have true E100 if interested.

Still good information, nice to know I have a source for quality fuel if I need it! I'll call soon and check pricing and report back for anyone else that might be interested. And if I get a chance, I'll take a ride out there just to see what's what. Might be worth it if I can fill up a 55 gallon drum. But for now, since the FlexFuel station in Baton Rouge is only a couple miles from my step-daughter's dad's house, where either myself on the wife picks her up every other week, that'll be my primary source until they shut it down or run out or relocate. I do appreciate you checking into that for me, though. And if I made the trip, I'd probably get the E100, less gallons to bring back, the 15% gas mixed in the E85 would be a waste of space transporting. Unless it's just that much more expensive because of the purity.

P.S. I've been uping my E%, now at 60% with no problems. Be nice if I could put straight E70 in the tank.

Called this morning. The lady working didn't know much about the fuels, but did indicate that they sold a fuel for $5/gallon that Henry pumps himself. She gave me a cell phone number to call (714-889-0847), I left a message, but have not gotten a response.

Call AGCO Automotive on Coursey. They do limited imports. I've dealt with German Auto BR on Florida Blvd for other repairs, I'm not sure about their alignments, though.


Now, if I could just get CarMax and Brian Harris BMW squared away, we could get our E93 back! Got 3 weeks out of it before the purge valve crapped out!
