Question Iphone 4s cradle

I have an Iphone 4s and have the cradle fitted into my car, but it doesnt play music through the AUX channel. Is there another cradle that does do the music playback,or do I have to carry on using the AUX 3mm jack plug socket?
Cheers.....

I have the iPhone 4 cradle which i've had modified to work with the aux... It has a short cable coming out the back which plugs into the aux socket... you still have to control what you play off the phone itself but it sorted me out... I have the iPhone 5 now so this is no llonger any good to me so am going to stick it up for sale £60 if interested?

BTW the only way you can use the iphone without the aux input is if you have the USB option

I have the USB option and can't get music via the dock?

I have one of those USB leads that has a USB+Aux-->iPod connector

Is there something I am doing wrong?

I believe there are different phone cradles depending on what you want to do with your iPhone... not overly clued up on this, but i'm sure someone on here could shed some more light

You're correct. There are three different adapters. Unfortunately the different media options they allow are dependent on which iDrive options you have. For example even though I have the options in my sig I can only use the basic adapter. Any audio playback is streamed via Bluetooth not the adapter.

Do you have the combox? I can't stream via bluetooth either - not that I would!
