3 months without cleaning

hey guys
3 months without cleaning a black e90... would it damage the paint or the rims if the car and the rims were already dirty?

Nope... unless it is birdshit. And don't rub the other debri in, this will lead to scratches.

I get it off the first time I see it one my car (it's still fresh then ). But when it's dry it's always difficult to get it off. Try to use alot of soapy water and a soft brush (soft enough for car cleaning, hard enough to get rid of the stuff)

Birdshit is best removed as soon as you can. If you leave it it can stain, or be so hard to get of that you start to scratch the paint with the effort you're using.

As for letting the car go months without cleaning, just be careful when you do clean it. Lots of water and keep getting fresh water so that you aren't putting dirt back onto the car and grinding it in.

rinse it off with just water from a hose atleast two or three times to get all the dirt off. Don't wash with a mitt or sponge until you've rinsed as much off as possible. you might even go thru a touchless carwash before you take it on by hand.

and birdsh*t stains the paint because it is acidic, and actually eats thru the clearcoat and stains the paint.
