Buying a 325i e90 *HELP PLEASE*
Hello,
I will be going on Tuesday for a test drive for a 325i black met. w/sports pacakge and Xenons. Don't know if the dealership has one that i want, but i was wondering, should i wait for the 328i? Is there REALLY a big differnece between the two, i don't really care for the 15hp increase that the engine has. I'd just like your input on this, it would really really really help out, since i'm a complete noob when it comes to BMW's.. |

You can probabbly get a much better deal on a 325 if you can find one that you want. Search the web for nearby dealerships and search their inventory. Maybe you'll find one that you will like and save some money.

I don't care much about the deal, i care more about the appearance of it. Right now, i just found out that the dealership here has a 328i coupe , which is exactly what i want. And also i can order it..(i think)
Lets see how the test drive goes..i would really love to get the 328i coupe.. |

if a few thousand bucks isn't a big deal, get the 328. really will help resale in the long run. plus you can order the options you want on the 328

Well a few thousands difference doesn't really make a difference.
But my question is, that is the 328i going to be a COUPE online or also a SEDAN..cause no matter how much research i'm doing, i can't seem to find that out. |

The coupes are brand spanking new for '07. Prior to it only sedans were available. Some terms you'll see on this forum: E90 = sedan = '06 325i/330i, as of '07 renamed to 328i/335i E92 = coupe = '07 328i/335i The 335i = twin-turbo engine. 328i is not, but has extra HP over 325i. So yes, you can get a 328i as a coupe. Make sure that's what you select when you configure it online or speak to your dealer. When online, you can tell by the picture that shows up on the BMW site, whether it's a coupe / sedan. Should be apparent. Look for the "sticky" threads at the top of this forum for more E92 / E90 info. If money isn't much of an issue, I'd say go with the 328i. You can no longer order new 325i/330i cars, only what's available on the lot new or used. From here on out, all NEW E90s/E92s are 328i/335i.
