Michelin Pilot Super Sport Question
Just picked up a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport for my 2006 330i. Just driven a day, but so far they seem to be living up to all the hype. Super smooth and the car just handle like never before.
Couple questions. First, I have tire pressure at recommended amount 36 in back and 32 up front. Any other suggestions on tire pressure? Also, probably a silly question, but there are a bunch of little rubber sticks? tags? like little hairs sticking out, all over the tires. Do I need to pull those off, do they wear off in a couple days? Didn't notice them until just now when I drove into work. Thanks! |

I run 31-35, but personnal preference. Your goal is to have the tires dirty up to the head of the little michelin man on the shoulder of the tire.
The little sticks will go away by themselves. Don't worry about them. |

I run fairly high tire pressures in mine. In your driver's door jamb, you should see a sticker with the recommended tire pressures for less than 100 mph and greater than 100 mph. I use the greater than 100 mph setting (for when I'm driving in a private airstrip in Mexico ) + 2 psi. The tires felt a little mushy at lower pressures.
