I'm way too old for this 3 series 'ish!
I am 37 and I am fast approaching 750i/Buick/Cadillac Retirement age. I have been driving nothing but BMW 3 Series since the summer of 2004 when I bought my first car, a 1995 318i, and joined the forums (BMW-Forums then later called Bimmerwerkz) at the age 22!

Joined 4 years ago when I got my first/current car. I say get a 5 series, perfect median between the young entry level 3 series & retirement 7 series. |

40, bought a 2013 e93 335i last year.
When I was in my early 20's, I bought a used e30 coupe after test driving it for 15 min, as I had never driven a BMW before that day. Was probably a very bad decision, but got lucky and car ended up being very reliable. Coming from Hondas/Toyotas in my youth, I was immediately hooked, just blown away how awesome that car drove compared to the civics and corollas. Since then have had a 5 series wagon (great car, please bring it back!), and X3 (least favorite). Currently have a 2016 X5, but given the option I always drive the e93. It feels kind of the same as the old e30 did, but with a lot more power. |

All you gotta do is add some NOS in the gas tank. NOS is super cheap and easy to find at any 7/11 or gas station convenience store. They're often found in the coolers next to the Red Bull's

Age of E92 Owner!
So, I will be 51 in May of '18. I have had 3 E90-E93s since I bought my first in '10. I now have a '12 E92 and a '15 F80, 6sp with CF roof. Most folks I have known who had E90-E93 were generally 20's - 30's. They were all invested in making more power from their N54's and N55's. At first I thought it was M envy. Nope, just not interested in the factory ideal of "performance". I get it. Personally, I'm not loyal to any series or platform. My goal is to own at least one of every series, platform, package, version...(you get the point) BMW has created. I don't know how to express it other than BMW checks all the boxes for me. I don't see that changing.

I'm 22, and bought my '09 335i (sport, premium, cold weather, iDrive) in January to replace my beloved 330ci (which I'd owned since 17). I thought I'd own the E46 forever, but a moron in an Accord had other plans... The E90 will be as new as I go, however, as I find the newer F series cars not worth the BMW premium on parts and maintenance- they lack the soul and driving experience of the older models.

18 in a couple days, and I'm picking up my 335d tomorrow. This is my first BMW but my second car. I started off with an Audi A4 but it got totaled in a flood. I can't wait to get started in the community.
