Messed around a bit last night and got nothing. I upped the gain until the speakers started to get distorted and it didn't affect the buzzing i'm hearing. If anything lowering it down all the way helped quiet it down the most

I am guessing that the tweeters are the problem but I'm really not sure. Are they mounted securely in the tweeter pods?

Yea I mounted them pretty securely I think and have redone it a few times now to test all of this out

Kaigoss probably has some advise on some low cost tweeters if you want to try something else. I don't know what else to suggest. If you had access to an oscilloscope you could see if the signal is clipping.

I have morel hybrid ovation II for the door speakers I would recommend them. From what I read about focal I would stay away they are kind of overpriced.

Per Kaigoss recommendation I ordered SEAS H1396 to replace the MB quart tweeters. Will keep everyone posted on how they sound with the MB quart crossovers and if it fixes my issue

Well i might just give up... Replaced the tweeters with the seas and still getting the noise. Could it be the crossovers or were you guys right that its prob the headunit or amp?

The example you used was pretty bad.

The example you used was pretty bad.
You might have picked something more common that everybody
could recognize what it should sound like , Like maybe some Pink
Floyd. I couldn't here a thing but that drone tone in the start of
whatever piece that was.
Did you do any custom wiring?
You said you could still here when you injected a signal right at the amp.
If that is true that leaves the amp and the wiring. Induced noise in the
wiring has rarely been reported here.

Sadly it doesnt do the noise on all songs only certain tones and that songs the easiest one to hear it in in person. Pink floyd it generally plays pretty well... Only custom wiring is the sub to oem connectors and now the wires to the new tweeters. All of that was done properly though soldered and heat shrink. It couldn't be the crossovers?

Btw that song was rythym of the night by bastille if anyone wants to hear what it should sound like. Those high notes in the beginning shouldnt buzz like they do in the car

Is there any noise when you turn it up with nothing

Is there any noise when you turn it up with nothing playing?
A background hiss is what is typically considered noise here.
The first sample sounds it little like it is being run through a ring modulator.
metallic like reverb echo. I think the only way you could tame that
is with a processor.

I'll check tomorrow. Pretty sure there is a slight hiss if I turn it up with nothing but i'll double check tomorrow and post back in here.

On a side note these new tweeters sound excellent. They sent me an extra 2 if anyone needs them let me know
