Did some search on this, people say the car sends out low voltage for a bulb diagnosis, most people never notice it because the stock lights are not brought enough

Normal, no check lights or anything, LEDS, fogs , low beam normal, We have the same bulbs, trying starting your car with light switch in the middle

Just checked, and yes, they do in all the switch positions. Weird for sure but like you said, it does the bulb diagnosis and the lower voltage that causes it to flicker for a couple of seconds. I am sure all the manufacturers do the same. I did notice on my 09 that it does not flicker near as much as your 11 does. A small price to pay though to get rid of those yellow rings etc.

Excellent thread Matrix , I have the 2011 M sport + , with standard halogens and will be doing the upgrade soon as the standard yellow is not very good looking at all .Last 1er M sport coupe had Xenons so it didnt look so bad . Seems here in the UK that only the coupe has the bright white bulbs etc ...not the Sedan ...is it the same in BC

I am shocked that the M sport doesn't come standard with Xexon lights. Well atleast you have an option to improve the the look. Post pics when your done.

Yes, everything listed is for your AE's, (4) H7's for low & highbeam lights, and (2) H8's for fog lights
