55W HID Kit Replacement of OEM 35W Kit
I am trying to see if anyone have done this? I think that the stock 35W OEM kit is kind of dim. I compared our 335i xenon with other vehicles such as the Acura TL, the Subaru STi, and the Honda S2000 (although my friend has after market 55w 5k kit). The stock lights just seem like it is not producing enough light as the our cars. Can I just do a direct replacement with another 55w kit with 5k bulbs? I know some change their bulbs to 6k that we can order but it just changes the color. Can I just swap in a 55w 5k kit, will it throw off my sensors or will the vehicle flag me?
Thanks. |

Modules that control the headlights are made for OEM wattage
