I know there are other threads on this, but mine might be a little different.

I was flasing dme, battery went dead. I just had battery charged professionaly, they said battery was good, just needed a charge. I was flashing for 10 min, it went dead.

I have an 06 330i, i was flashing msv70, i flashed it back to the oldest version to then let winkfp choose the correct version because I had downloaded v50.3 and there was a newer version than winkfp had chosen and I flashed it with that one, that is when battery went dead. It was at 100% but never said ok, then everything went dead.

I went and bought a new battery, and flashed it to the version winkfp chose. In inpa, the version it shows is still the oldest one available, even after the flash to the one winkfp chose, which I figured out, was the newest version I had chosen which started all of this. When I look at the inpa list for the zusb# before I did any flashes, that version is not a choice when I try to choose it manually. I tried to re-flash to the # just before the original, but it did not help.

I read some posts and found how to re-align dme with inpa, but it says my versions dont match, and it wont let me, I unplugged the negative cable for over 30 min, no luck. I also found a post to re-align dme with ekp, but have not tried.

I am looking for any ideas, or anything I can try. I have seen where you can uninstall and re-install, I have not tried that yet either. How do I uninstall? Can someone give me instructions? I also tried to register new battery with tools, but it gives me an error. When I try to flash back to newer version I get an error in winkfp that says security access denied, authentication failed, and com errors.

Tell me, did it flash correctly for a second time, after new battery was installed? No errors?

I had a thought. I imported the v53 with winkfp, but I did not save it to my C drive, could this be the cause of the versions not matching error I get in INPA when I try to re-sync?

Before all of this happened, I re-set a bunch of adaptations in INPA. It was the night before. When I started it, it would barely idle, and had the half engine light on. I shut it off and re-started, and it was better.

Befor the battery ended up going dead, I had flashed CAS, and amp 60. I re-flashed both of those with no errors after I put in the new battery.

I do have a constant red transmission light on in dash.

I keep remembering things that I did, after I had the issue, I flashed the CAS back to the old version, and I got me steering wheel lock light back. I re-flashed back to new version, and light went away.

I am running INPA 5.0.3, would that cause the version errors? I flashed everything possible with v5.02 a few weeks ago without one problem at all. Like I mentioned in previous post, I did not update my C drive folders with new v53 files, they still have the v52 files. The only thing I did with the v53 files was upload them with winkfp.

Try SG_Coderen with an empty PSW file. This will load nothing.....erased essentially. Then do an SG_Reset. This should make your ECU query the vehicle VO information. The other modules holding VO (CAS,NFRM) should load up your DME. I've done this with my FRM and it worked for that ECU. I see no reason the DME wouldn't do the same.

You lost me, can you please walk me through this? Do I use NCS for this? I have little experience with NCS, simple instructions will do. This is just the 3rd or 4th time I have flashed. I have never used NCS, just tried to look up VO in CAS last night for new ah rating for new battery, if that gives you an idea of how little experience I have. I hope it is not much trouble, it drives me crazy not to be able to drive my car.

More info, tried saving v53 to c drive no help. When I check DME staus on INPA the state of the DME is 6, and says signatorprufung DAF nicht durchgefurhrt.

When I try to check the values in INPA it will not complete the last dot for the DME and a red box shoes up at bottom of the screen titled, meldung and in the red box is n.i.o.
