I have a hair like partical, very small on my hood. A small dimple like spot on my trunk too. Nothing that can be seen though unless you face it 10 inches from it. The trunk can be seen in the right light though. Chris

Last night I was reading this post and thought myself lucky to not have any problems. This morning when walking back to my parked silver 330, I noticed a blemish in the front passenger door's lower right corner. It looks like a half circle ring worm like defect. Looks like something stuck to the door before it was painted. It's about 1.75 inches long, about as wide as an earth worm, and curved like an arch. Sits right there at the corner of the door near front fender and rocker pannel.
I am in complete shock. I didn't notice it at delivery a week ago. Only noticed it in full sun today. The good news is that it's not real noticeable, and only is when in full sun. But I am pissed! What the f#$k is this BMW? Can't decide if I should risk having it repaired, or just live with it. Last edited by wantmye90; 12-11-2005 at 11:21 PM.. |

It's funny you mentioned this. I just found a spot that you described in the beginning on my door of my new e90 330i. About the size of a pin head, but definetly sticks up above the paint. Very small, but disappointing considering I watched many short videos on BMW's care in their paint process. Shouldn't happen.
