Reccomendations for e90 335xi

Greetings,

Ordered a 335xi sedan jet black with the stock 17" wheels and all-seasons which I will keep for the winter.

Would appreciate your recommendations for wheel/tire for summer that is 18or 19" that look good and provides good ride/handling

$2000-$3000 budget

Thanks,
Freddy

Thanks - BMW site has a few rim/tire combo not recommended for xi.

Anyone know why that is and how I would go about choosing rim/tire combo for my 335xi.

I want to get a 19" Tire and Wheel set also for my 08 E92, but BMW says that because of the AWD, I can not go with a 19" wheel. The rolling diameter is too much of a difference and will cause premature Front End Failure.

Tire Rack says this is BS and I should be able to put a 19" setup on my XI with out any warranty problems.

Anyone else???????

19" on E90 xi

Goto this thread to see 19" m3s. It is my friends car. Other than curb rash fears, he loves them.

The Xis can run 19" no problem, we have done staggered sets on Xi's that fit and work perfectly.

That is BS - the issue is matching the rolling diameter front to rear.

Yes, as long as you're able to match the tire sizes as closely as possible, you will not have any problems running staggered wheels/tires on an XI

You'll be fine with 19"s as long as you get a close match. JLevi is a solid dealer. Personally I'm going through the same thing right now, but am at the end of my search. I was considering VMRs for a while, cuz I love the design, but they just weren't hitting that special spot in my heart. I eventually found the wheels that I think are perfect on TireRack and will be purchasing through them (along with tires). Total cost (wheels, tires, TPMS sensors, mounting and blancing, and shipping) is $2700. Not bad, if you as me.

But whether you choose JLevi or TireRack, talk to one of their experts and you'll be fine. Either way, make sure that e90post get's credit for the reference.

How about the EX-M4 in 19 inch? Its available in staggered & non-staggered fitments! Below is a picture of my personal sedan with the wheels on it. Mind you I am lowered on H&R race springs thats why it looks so low.
