Service indicator

Guys,

My car went in for a service before Xmas,

I think they forgot to reset the service clock as when I turn the ignition on I get the Red car with service written and -2000 miles. I am guessing the 2000 miles means overdue.

I have not had time to go in to the dealers since but will try today. Is it just a case of them resetting it but obviously it will not come on until 2000 miles to late next time? Is this correct or can they reset it so it will return back to normal service intervals?

Also I have the warning for a light out still on my dash will they be able to locate which bulb through the OBD port they use? (I don’t have idrive)

Thanks in advance

Mark
