M3 ZCP wheels fit on the 335is? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Wondering if M3 Competition wheels from a 2011 E92 Coupe will work without any fitment issues on a 2011 335is with the awesome oem sport suspension.

The M3 wheels are run Michelin PS2 245 F / 265 Rear tires and the wheels are 19 inch 9.5/8.5 I believe they are 35 series tires...correct me if I am wrong.....

I am wondering about the fitment and if the TPMS sensors on stock 335is twin spoke 5 star wheels will work on the M3 wheels if they need to be transferred.

TIA I am sure they would fit and look great but wondering if there is any difficulties that anyone has encountered or fitment issues with stock suspension.

Firstly, the OEM M3 tire sizes are wrong. You would need 225/35 or 235/35R19 up front and 255/30 or 265/30 in the rear. The stock M3 rubber is too tall and will only exacerbate the fact that the rear fitment is just too aggressive. Remember that the M3 has flared wheel arches for a reason. Not sure on the exact offset but I'm pretty sure that the M3 Comp. Pack rears are 9.5 wide with a offset of 23. That puts them 27mm farther out in the rear than your stock wheels, which is quite a bit! You can get away with it if you run the correct sized tires and roll the rear fenders. Otherwise you will be rubbing tire on fender on big bumps particularly if you have passengers. The front fitment is straightforward. Another possible solution is to have a competent shop machine the mounting face of the rears down 8 to 10mm to bring the offset up. The last solution is to fit some Avant Garde type 359 wheels which are pretty much exact copies but with offsets more friendly to non-M cars.

I see you have an M3. Are you trying to fit M3 wheels to another car or is someone trying to buy your stock wheels to fit on their car? Anyway, the TPMS sensors from a 2011 are compatible with another 2011, no need to transfer.

stock m3 tires are too big for the non-m's. swap the tires out for 235/35 front and 265/30 rear, then do a mild roll on the rear fenders. you'll be straight especially since the non-m e92 is stock suspension (sport suspension isnt really a drop).

Hey thank you for your input. Great info there, so yes I am putting up stock ZCP for sale and in general wondering the fitment on a non-m car like the 335is....I think it would be more efficient if it went to an M car unless they do all what you said to make it work... Thanks again

ZCP wheels are 19x9F and 19x10R. And as been said, M3 tire sizes are too big for non-M.

OEM M3 comp wheels on my 335i.

235/35/19
265/30/19

Lowered with eibach prokit.

Perfect fitment.

So yes, just need to swap tires.
