Here is my deal...

11' BMW 328XI Sedan
STICKER - 45,350
NEG PRICE 43,000

MONEY FACTOR I WAS APPROVED FOR .00125 (STANDARD PLUS)
Residial 60%
NYS TAX - I think is 8.625
being charged 650 security deposit & 725 acquisition fee

TRADING IN MY 09 ACURA TL WITH A TRADE IN VALUE OF 25K AND A PAYOFF OF 29K

PUTTING DOWN 4K TO COVER THE NEGATIVE EQUITY AND AN EXTRA 2K = TOTAL 6K DOWN.

LEASING FOR 36 MO @ 10K MILES = 602.50 A MONTH.

INSITE?

The car is ordered but it's never too late to back out of the deal as NYS law requires a dealer to refund your deposit at anytime if delivery is not taken.

^^^ just make sure you negotiate the final price of the new vehicle before you start to talk your trade. a lot of dealers will show that your getting more for your trade in but instead are packing the extra onto the price of the new vehicle.

If you can sell your car on your own i can sell you the vehicle at a great deal however i can't help you out with your trade since your so far away without knowing all the options you have selected in your build its hard for me or anyone else to tell you that your deal is good or not. Do you know now much over invoice you are quoted?

So, $400 over invoice (prior to the eco credit)? Pretty darned good, I think.

Hey guys, I just went into the dealership yesterday to get some pricing. I'm thinking about Leasing a 2011 335i coupe.

I don't have the sheet that the guy printed for me but here are the details, at least what I can remember.

3 year lease/15k miles
2011 335i Coupe
6-speed MT
Alpine White
Coral Red Interior
M-Sport Package
Premium Package
Navigation

money factor: .00135 (i think, it could be off)
Residual value: 57%
Initial drive off: ~$2184
Monthly payments:~$701 (after tax)

Does that sound about right? or can I do better?

The guy I spoke to has a good rep on this forum and bimmerfest for not messing around and giving pretty much the best price from the get-go but I obviously still want to do my research and make sure I'm getting the best deal I can get.

as a first time leaser i have a couple questions. assuming i have to order a car(as its very likely no one will have the car i want) at what point in the process are the 'due at signing' fees done? im talking any kind of required security deposit, firts months payment, inception fees, etc...) is this done when the car is ordered or when you take delivery? if its done when its ordered is there any $$ required up front to start the build process? also lets say i order a car and god forbid something terrible happens and i am unable to take delivery or fulfill the lease, what happens then? just trying to cover everything.

thanks

$500 refundable deposit to start the order process. All of the other drive-off stuff is due when you take delivery.

Deposit to order car, depends on the dealership. Upfront cost(payment, registration, bank fee, etc...) due when taking delivery, when the contract is signed. Unless it's a Euro or pcd, then they are due prior to delivery(no later than 14 days prior to delivery). If there is a need to cancel, then it will depend on the dealership, the status of the vehicle, and the agreed upon terms, when the deposit is refunded. If something should happen after ownership has taken place(contracts have been signed) then what happens is between the consumer and BMW.
