I think it's totally fine smoking in the car, as a matter of fact, i smoked in it the first day. I don't see a point in changing your lifestyle because of a car. It's only a car, just material, you can always buy another one.

like some people said its cooL its your car.......for me, eh i let my brother smoke in my car once and he went to flick the cig. next think i knew a burning piece of ash started hurling down toward the rear sits....after that i said screw this.....never....

i smoke in mine all the time, just keep the windows down and smoke Eclipse's since they won't get ash all over the place and have very little smell....

seriously what topic is that? its your car u do with it whatever u want. by the stage u can give that money for that car u should be able to see the concequences of your action

I have smoked in all my previous cars, none of them bimmers. I have burned holes and tainted upholstery in all of them. As some sort of karmic retribution for my recent purchase of a 325i, I have decided to quit. I won't hurt my car, I will be able to date my quit-time by the amount of time I will have been driving bmw, and I will be feeling great... like a new person... a non-smoking, bmw-driving person...

Obviously, I am referring to quitting smoking tobacco... just tobacco....

No way! You made the car that much more authentically German. Why do you think the smoking features are so much easier to access than the cup holders? It's for a REASON. I personally don't smoke, but you aren't going to hurt my feelings (or the car's) by smoking in it.
