Slowly getting into detailing my car. It's great to go over the whole car slowly while working on it, makes you notice rock chips, dings, oddities, etc,or lack there of.

Products used:

- Chemical Guys M-Seal Sealent (Very easy to apply/remove by hand) 1 coat
- Dodo Purple Haze Wax 1 coat
- Stoners glass spray
- Armor-all Tire gel
- 303 AP for clearbra,taillights, CF bits(not hood/trunk/roof.)

Comments/tips greatly appreciated!

They'll be reps. OEM M6 wheels don't fit the 3 Series.

Appreciate the comments!

I have some white residue left from the sealant and wax in areas such as where the clear bra edges, any tips to remove it?

Also,I have very bad water spotting on my clear bra on the rear bumper. I've tried 303 AP, M-Seal, and waxed it, no luck. Any ideas for that?

wax on clear bra edges is a MF'er...best bet is to leave it alone and wash off over the next few months...and TAPE the edges next time...if you rub you will mar the paint along the edges when the film comes off

I also have water spots on my VentureShield (and some swirls too...don't ask ) and have not tried anything yet...please let us know what you come up with...plexus did nothing

Ive used Rubbing alcohol and Q tips. Took me all of 5 minutes believe it or not. I thought it was going to be hell to get stuff out of the clear bra edge.

In order to get the waterspots out of the clear bra, you would need to polish it out just as you would the paint. If its not coming out you need to go with a more aggressive pad and or polish.

Good stuff, hope to see it around NC/RTP area! Get some nice lights for paint imperfections. Kinda sucks that you see everything, but you get an idea for proper vehicle care.
