Definitive Motors in Bellevue, WA

Hey, i'm planning to purchase 2008 BMW 335xi in Definitive motors. The specs is 2008 BMW 335xi with premium & cold weather package that sells for 26k with 50k miles.
Anybody here have ever contact or purchase vehicles from them?
i found many BMWs there and the prices are so damn cheap so i wonder if its risky or not to purchase the car from them.

They seem like good guys. I've never bought a car form them though. 26k for a car with 50k miles is really high. I paid 27k iirc for my 2007, and my car had 17k miles, this was like 3 years ago. My point is you can get a lower mileage car (thats in warranty) for the same price.

I agree that is quite high for a 50k car. Is it a e92 or e90 cus if its a e92 than the price actually goes up because the value is worth more.

Heard they are cheap. But my friend who has connection in car business told me not to get cars from either Definitive and Kero. I try to PM you with the reason, but you are too new here. So I cant.

me too pm me pls

i know most of the kero's car coming from auction, and i heard rumors that most of the car are repo and rebuilt.
also i know that they own a bodyshop with no name several block away (according to my friend), cause my friend got his deep dent door fix and repaint, they order new side skirt and paint, all for 500, while the cheapest quote from other shop is 1k. and they did pretty good job, the door came out flawless.

Exactly what I heard as well. Same to the Definitive. Another of my friend almost got ripe off by Kero when he purchased his X5 there. Luckily, my friend owns a body shop. So he is really knowledge with cars.

The only thing I know about Definitive is that I see them every day when I go to the post office across the street. Their business must be doing good enough to warrant such an increase in office/lot space. I've always wondered if they're reputable though. I'm glad you're asking this question now.

[rant]

I know I get irritated when I see them double park in the street in the back to take their photos (blocking a true lane of a road).

Actually the one i was looking for is E92 Sparkling Graphite BMW 335xi with premium & cold weather package. Well yea, my friends told me to never buy from Kero's because their cars usually broke down after few months owning it. I heard that they don't sell cars with great running condition, but once again i HEARD that from my friends, so i don't have experience yet with Kero's.

Hey the shark, are u buying the one with 6MT & red interior in it?

Apparently i already searched through autotrader and craiglists for few weeks and there is no E92 335xi that sells this cheap. The KBB retail value is $32K while the trade in is $27K, so they selling this car under KBB trade in value. I found out from the Carfax that this car have been in their lot since December 2010. Do i need to be careful to purchase this car?

I smell something fishy here or people just don't want to buy BMW 335xi without the factory warranty.

I've noticed some cars haven't been moving as quickly as they usually do the last 4-5 months. In fact, they only used to stock BMWs/minis. Now they have Audi's, more benzos, and an occasional Volvo. Of course, a sprinklin of this and that too, but it USED to be 95% BMW. Your and everyone else's call.

Like I said....I drive by to that post office just about 310 days of the year (they're closed on Saturdays & Sundays, but I still drop off).

What would you do if you were in my position?
I'm planning to get a mechanic inspection for this car, but they keep insisting me to sign "pre buyer" consignment and put 1K down, so basically they will hold the car for me in case there are other buyers for the car. Honestly, i'm not really sure about signing that document because i read some pretty nasty reviews that a customer have a hard time to get their 1K back because the customer cancelled the purchase from Definitive.

They seem shady because I think they are selling a salvaged E36 M3 for full retail.

Those types of dealerships and even major dealerships require you to do your own research on the vehicle. Pay for a PPI, that makes sure there aren't any surprises later on. Get the service record from them, if the HPFP has been changed or any other major service then it will be documented. I've heard of people buying CPO and used cars from BMW dealerships that break down, so what?

Just think that every dealership, small or big, is out to fuck you. They're motherfuckers, its just the nature of the business. You have to be diligent and do your homework.

Pribumi, I would even look into buying a car from Oregon or Cali and driving it back up.

This is so true. I wish somebody had told me this earlier before I found out the hard way.
