okay let say i dun have the A-D/compass/homelink..only the rain sensor
...so after i purchase ur retrofit kit...basiclly i will have all these A-D/compass/homelink....is this right? if yes and this will fit the 08 E92 right?

I spoke with my Parts Advisor and he said you are good to go

Speak to your parts adviser and see if he can decipher the damn instructions. I've read them 10 times and I can't figure if the wire needs to be run to under the light console on the roof or to are fuse thing under the dash in the footwell. Since there is the non-US and US instructions on the same dame PDF.

Either way I got my mirror today, looks good since it's from a salvage yard. It did not come with the wire so I'll be ordering that from Tischer tonight. Maybe I'll try to tackle this DIY this weekend and be the first to actually deal with the wire changing. I'm not taking pictures either just to piss people off:finger:

Hey, I hope it works out for you in the end. I was looking it over with longtran and only pages 11/12 IIRC are necessary, and even then only page 12 is what you really need.

How bout you guys go though with it first and I follow your lead? I'm not exactly swift with electrical stuff, not that this seems hard but I'd rather Long play with it and figure it out then I do it
