Mazada Raceway Laguna Seca of course. They have practice on Friday and running the race Saturday and Sunday. I'm heading down on Friday and leaving Sunday morning.

$60 at the gate. I ordered online after New Years and got mine for $50, wished I waited for the BMWCCA deal that offered corral parking for another $50.

According to people involved with the company, yes, the employees were all let go today.
Waiting to get more updates straight from the horse's mouth.

Got back from the body shop and they got the skirts on my car for a test fitting and it's not looking very good, I'm a bit worried about how they'll look. Hopefully they can get the right side flush since that's the only one that's looking kinda blah.

To each his own. There is nothing wrong with helping someone out, but this isn't a family emergency situation like losing a house or having health care bills, etc. When my LSD blew after just a couple weeks, I didn't ask anyone to help me out, I kept it parked until I saved enough to fix it. It was an assumed risk, just like this (and this so much more).
Again, it sucks what happened, but you don't send your $40k car across the country to be the test car for a project without some kind of insurance of getting it back, especially when they've had it for years. And why is he getting it shipped to another company to continue looking into it? How is he going to pay for that? Does he think they will work on it for free? He should really ship it home and just deal with it after he settles down in a couple months. I'm sure his anxiety is sky-high right now, which should be an indication that maybe you just cut your losses at this point and stop dumping money into it. Shit happens, bad luck strikes, you're dealt a bad hand, and sometimes you just have to move on. Everyone is entitled to their opinion about this subject, and some people don't think it's a worthwhile effort to donate...that doesn't make them a douchebag or that they don't care that he served for our country. They look at it and see a guy who made a choice to spend thousands to mod a car for personal enjoyment, and now doesn't have they money to get it back, but wants to continue the project. It was a valiant effort, but why prolong it when it's already causing financial and mental stress within his family? I do hope he gets it sorted out one way or another. |

What's the best way to apply touch up paint to rock chips on the hood. I have a strip underneath my bumper as well and I want to fix that too.
I've seen some hacked up touch-up paint jobs and it looks terrible. Almost worse than than before it was re-touched. Im willing to pay someone to do it for me if they are experienced. |

lmcartouchup@yahoo.com He's very friendly, he's mobile, I had him come to my house and he was honest and would not try to rip you off. He'd give you a cheaper solution first to try to help you save some money or he can get it done right if you wanna pay up. God damnit, I just made a coffee and I dumped too much creamer in it. I gotta toss this one.

Got back from the shop and skirts looks awesome! I was losing sleep over it to be honest, but a miracle was performed. Can't wait to get the car back and pics posted.
