hey guys,

The dealer just replaced my fuel pump under warranty and they ALSO did the new software update and honestly i have no idea what all you people were talking about how the car runs liek shit with the new software. IMO, it runs just as good maybe even better. I feel abs. NO Lag.

SO to all you guys worrying about the new software, i think most of you are over reacting.

Do you know the version of the new software they loaded onto your car? Rumors are the newest software, v31, cures the lag. If that is what your car got, then you would feel no lag...presumably.

Looking forward to more data behind this. Let us know what your progman is, etc etc. What was your progman before?

Obviously there is a real issue. The lag thread isn't seventy pages of just over reacting.

I had my HPFP replaced last week as well after 27K miles. I was having some long crank times but otherwise my car was running fine, or so I thought.

When I took my car in (for brake fluid service actually) there was a recall on my FP (which I knew there was from the build date). I dont think they did software since he actually asked me if I wanted them to check my version and I said I was happy with the old software, and it wasn't listed on my work order receipt. My car actually feels like it is running stronger with the new HPFP

i just checked my invoice and it doesnt give numbers for the progman....i called my SA and he said they did update but he didnt give me the numbers. The exhaust IS a bit louder without the golf tee mod.
