2010 E93 M-Sport Has Shadowline

Unfortunately for me (I dislike shadowline) the 2010 E93 M-Sport now has shadowline.

I'm really pissed off because the folks at BMW corporate promised me that this wouldn't be the case. This is especially upsetting because I was about to buy the car TODAY!

Go to BMWUSA and build one to see the changes, including the new mirrors.

I know most of you love shadowline, so I'm sure this message will make you happy. Not me though.

BTW what are the odds of finding an '09 335cic with M-Sport and Lemans/Cream Beige with almost everything except for active steering?

I am with you - I don't like shadowline on the E93! Have the dealer do a search for an 09, you might get lucky!

Odds of finding that are next to none lol....

You can always get the regular trim, but pricing it out went over $1000 in a hurry and the pieces on the actual top don't show up as individual pieces. It would probably be cheapest to have them painted or plated (if you can remove them all) or try to find them from a wrecked car.

Does the trim fit a 2008 e93?? If so, you could find someone to swap with.

I just ordered an '09 e93 that's on a boat and should be delivered in Oct... It has the regular trim I'd be happy to do a swap for your shadowline if you're interested and it fits?

Well, it turns out that the shadowline shown on the M-Sport E93 on BMW's website is incorrect. The web people made a mistake and (thankfully) the trim is silver. BMW is in the process of fixing the site to correct the error.
