Lighting Makeover
Signed the papers yesterday for a brand new 2011 328xi after 5 years in my 2001 325i
The E46 had factory xenon lights, but I could not get xenons in the new car due to limited selection at the dealer That said, I would like to upgrade the factory lights to a more xenon/white look. There is a ton of information out there for upgrading the angel eye lights, but I am wondering what works best for the low beams, high beams, fog lights along with changing the angel eye lights. All suggestions welcome and appreciated! |

So after a little more research I think I am going to go with VisionX
H7 for the High/Low's H8 for the Angel Eyes H11 for the fog lights Going to stick with the standard wattage unless anybody recommends anything different |

Lux is not as bright as halogen h8 bulb with increased wattage, i'd say go with gpthunders 7500k for angel eyes and up your wattage a bit
Edit. Sorry voltage not watrage Two days ago i put h11 blbs 55w into my angels and they were fucking bright!!! But after 2 minutes they gone, computer shut it down for to high power |

Still working on getting this done.
Have found a bunch of DIY's for pre-LCI, but not a whole lot for newer models. After looking around under the hood yesterday it seems almost impossible to change the angel eye bulb without taking the whole light assembly out. |
