He genuinly may have a problem with his car, and not just be talking about turbo-lag. He is comparing it with his mates 335i after all.
Give the poor guy the benefit of the doubt.

Buddy, take your car to the dealership and get them to run a diagnosis. Come back here and report!!

I wouldn't be putting on a Procede if you car isn't in 100% working order before hand.
