Plasti dip

I've seen the americans using it quit frequently but I can't seem to find a stockists in the uk,does anyone know where I can get it from??also has anyone used the glossifier?

It just doesn't seem to be that popular over here,even plastidip.co.uk don't stock the black,if you find a stockist let me know.

I must've bought their last stocks of black aerosol - I got mine from plastidip.co.uk. And the glossifier too. Need nearly as much glossifier as vinyl spray!

Is the glossifier as easy to remove from the paintwork?im going to email plasti dip.co.uk and find out when they will get it back in stock.

they supply all sorts of paints etc for restorations.
ive still got some black aerosole as supplied by them.

i used plasti-kote, available from b&q, on my grilles this weekend. nice finish, looks OEM. no need to sand or prime.

no i dont think you can peel it off. plastidip is probably better if you really want to know that it can be peeled off.

i just got fed up of trying to get some plastidip and thought i'd just use plastikote, i knew i would like the matte black grilles

I spoke to the guys at plastidip.co.uk and they will have the black aerosol back in stock Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

so u didnt do any prep work?? just went for the kill and sprayed it on??

It's a glossifier you apply over the matt plasti dip to make it gloss

yep. all i had to do was to remove the grille, and then remove the outer chrome part. only prep i did was to wash the chrome in warm water with a little fairy liquid.

the first coat you put on will look wrong but the more you add the better. keep to thin coats

G5EME - Guess i will need to grab a bottle of the glossifier as well if i was to use the plastidip! oh well...still cheaper than a oem bmw performance grill....
