Can I run an aftermarket bumper without the duct/vent package?

Hello,

I'm currently in the market for a performance front bumper but I don't want to spend the extra 350 bucks on the cold air and brake cooling package right now. I'll get it later down the but was just wondering if anyone has ran the BMW performance without the package? Are there any drawbacks or complications with the package? That car is a e90 n54.

Daniel - I think everyone is looking for a solution... I have the same as you and don't want the hassle of having to buy a ton of misc parts, etc. Wish one vendor would just package it up and give the best price.

You should buy it, see if it works. If it doesnt work, then buy the cold air pack and post your final results. The cold pack is just to cool your brakes (as the name of the part states) Unless you're doing some serious aggressive driving, I dont think you'll need it, but it would be good to have.
