Bms Dual cone intake
Just finished installing took me about 2 hours .. and 2 screw drivers are lost in my car..
took my car out for a drive with my jb3 2.0 on map 3 on 91 octane gasoline all else stock.. felt absolutely amazing... but the screw drivers really worries me.. one is really small the other is big ithink they fell into the bottom of the engine. they didnt change the car when i was driving it i didnt hear any movement in the engine(clinks and stuffs) so i think im good. |

+1 Since you are local, next time you do a mod install come by my house, I'll do it for a few beers and half the time spent.
Also invest in a magnet wand....they cost $3.

I think i spend more time fishing out sockets inside the engine bay than installing mods.
Another quick trick... Slap the plastic under the engine bay. You should be able to hear the srewdriver bouncing up and down when you do that. Once you find it, grab a rather powerful magnet and drag it across the area where you think the screwdriver is at and you should hear it dragging along. Try to drag it to one of the openings. If not, drag it to where you can see it from on top of the engine bay and fish it with a magnet wand. Kind of a confusing paragraph but you get what i mean.

To the OPs defense, taking off the stock airbox can take a long time if you don't how to properly coax the grommets. This difficulty can be multiplied when this is your first mod on you 50k car and you don't want to break anything.
But after you do it once, it's a 10 minute job. |
