Exhaust Tip Installation in GTA

Ive had a pair of exhaust tips from a Nissan 350z sitting in my garage for a year now that I bought to be installed on my car.

I know its an easy install for any exhaust shop, just wanted to see if anyone had a favorite shop they go to for exhaust work.

I know its a cheap job for sure, cant be more then half hours labor to cut off old tips and weld on new ones. How much should I be spending on this. I have no idea what an exhaust shop should be charging, I dont want to be one of those people who get reiddiculed for getting over charged!

Thonrhill, Woodbridge, Richmondhill are preferred, but im open to anywhere...

Bimmersport did a great job with my custom dual. They did the pipping and replace the trims...etc, took them about 4 hours (it is a lot more involving than just tips).

I'd imagine you can be in and out pretty quickly. Charlie did a good job on my car.

How much did they charge you?

I ddint even think of them. I should give them a call, one of my buddies knows the guy there. Theyre labor is like $100 an hour?

Would we all say im right with the 1/2 hour labor here?

for a straight cut and weld, it was $40 per tip (best price i could find in the GTA) but they also custom fabricated some new hangers to make my quad tips fit the cutout from the CF diffuser and also had to make some new hangers to properly line up the diffuser mounting points..... in the end it was $150. We also spent a good 45 mins getting the perfect positioning of the tips! So u can rest assure that they are very thorough and strive for customer satisfaction!

btw, for a really good job, you're looking AT LEAST 1.5 hours......thats from my past experiences with different shops. The OE tips are really thick!

I think the labour rate seems right. I eneded up paying $300ish for additional pipping and install/uninstall work. I was there around 10 until almost 2.

Great prices and quality of work. However my review is based on Mississauga shop.

Went here today. Very disappointed. I bought DiMisa tips which are made exclusively for 335's. I was sent the guidelines with the tips that makes the install virtually idiot proof. Well when I got there I had some "kid" assigned to do the install. Seemed like one of these know-it-all guys. I explained to him I had the sheet that gave tips (no pun intended) for him to look at. He took that as an insult it seems. He didn't even want to look at it. Too proud I guess. Anyway the instructions clearly say that the inlet of the DiMisa tips are 2.25" wide and that the tailpipe of the 335 is 2.5". This guy was convinced the tailpipe on the car was only 2.25" and that it was going to be a tough install. I tried to keep my patience and hinted at the "sheet" again. Nope he wouldn't budge. Finally I told him to take my car down and that I would go elsewhere because he clearly had no clue about anything. I'm not saying this place isn't good only that the installer I had was horrible. If that reflects on the business as a whole so be it.

I ended up going to Majestic Muffler and couldn't be happier.

Zoro used to be a good shop, but it's a hit and miss nowadays.
