It's just hard to find people that will really steer you in the right direction and give you what you actually want. Always better and safer to do the research so you know exactly what your getting and get what you want

I am glad it worked out for you though brother. With your rubbing problem I would play with some camber it should really be an easy fix brother

I actually knew what offsets I wanted to go with my setup but like I said I needed these wheels to clear my BBK and I had zero idea what will fit and not fit. So, why not let the wheel company decide because if they F up it's on them to correct that problem of not clearing my brakes.

My camber is set at -2.1 right now and I'd rather try to leave it like that. I will possibly trim some more after I find where else it's still rubbing at.

If your at -2 now it will really be no big difference to bump it in up to -3. That will take of your rubbing with no negative effects my friend

how far did you guys shave, I shaved a all the way to where bumper meets quarter panel...but didn't go all the way down maybe half on other side....got s slight rub on big bump...maybe the party I didn't shave hit slightly.

Haha Rob sorry about not getting back to you was busy today with Mother's Day.

Put it this way where the bumper meets the quarter I rubbed that corner of the bumper right down more the half of the bumper thickness with my tires. And that's is the same thing for the front to lol. If that makes any sense to you

I shaved where it meets the bumper up to near the rear door.

I didnt go too crazy but I went up to where the rocker meets the fender I doubt that would hit there and toward the back i went a little further back where the bumber meets the fender.

But I basically concentrated getting it really close where the suspension travel is going to be. Mine is very premature as I dont even have my wheels yet so we'll see. But i think I'll be good with what i cut out!

I left a very small lip maybe an 1/8 more like a 1/16th i wanted a lip so I could seal it all up

on most of it I have no lip hardly lol! I only shave to middle of the door maybe less, May need to shave more. So you shaved all the way down to bear the side skirts?

If you look along the that lip forward you will see a line i stopped about 2inches before that line as I don't think the wheel rub there. This new wheel is going to poke .118 further than my last wheel I definitely think I just trimmed more than .118. I think the problem I'm going to have if i have one is the 275 tire that i'm trying to fit. I should have went with a higher offset

Just take your time and make yourself a cutline stay to the inside of it, so when you finish cutting you clean it up and you shouldn't have any wavvyness to it. Becareful and don't slip and hit your fender! GOOD LUCK

thanks..any chance you think i can get away with just a roll? It's a 10 inch wheel going on a coupe with +22 offset - i am tucking rear tire on kw v3

Oh hell yes just a roll would be perfect I ran 10.5 et22 just fine with a wild roll!

it is actually cut straight...the paint marks make it look wavy lol! My big ass tires fit with a 10MM spacer now!

Wait yours are 1/2 that? Basically 2MM thick total?

Yeah about that I'll see if i can grab a pic.....freaking tired I was cleaning my brakes all day. With the new wheels you'll be able to see them so they gotta be clean.

I have a over a 1/16th but no quite a an 1/8 I can see both pieces of metal

I played around with rolling my rears and cutting my liner and all that crap and finally decided once I got my 12" rear fitted that a 285/30 was going to require that I cut the lip off. I used a dremel tool and a air sander. Mine are basically flush also, I cut off most of the lip leaving about a strong 16th and then sanded it all off and smoothed it out.

It did open up a lot of room in the fenders but I still rub.

careful with the split fender now, once you guys start to push the fitment out anymore the tire will heat up that fender and pull it away from outer fender. from that point on that inner fender will start to chop into your side wall.
