Customer service at Otto's BMW (Ottawa)
Just had great customer service there (sarcasm).
Went in for service (my regular SA wasnt there). After I paid them for the work, I asked the SA if they had some calendars. I was told to check at reception. Receptionist told me that she didnt know anything about it. She paged someone who told her that I should check with parts. A salesman who was there told me I should go BUY one at parts. I know for a fact that they do have the dealership calendars because they have given some to me before when I was there and I have been a regular customer for them. As I made my exit through service, the same SA asks me if I found one. So I told him no and his reply was "oh". Then he just looked away. After getting the money, I guess they dont really care... Sorry for the rant :S |

I've been treated well by their service side over the years, but was rather underwhelmed by their sales department lately. They were all friendly, but were really going for the hard-sell on a deal that was quite lackluster. I really wasn't content with what they were offering so to backup my argument I called BMW Toronto for some comparison pricing; they beat Ottos over the phone by several thousand dollars. I brought that up with them and they got REALLY defensive and tried to call my "bluff" thinking I wouldn't go to TO to buy a car. I jumped in my car that morning, drove down to TO, and by that afternoon I had signed a deal, haha.
