Anyone out there in the winston area? I think we should all get up sometime and do a meet for like Winston, Greensboro, High Point area or something.

Hey welcome aboard! Theres a few of us around in the Triad that are active from time to time. I am usually trolling the boards every day on break time. There is a Cars and Coffee meet every 3rd Saturday of the month in Greensboro that a few members here go to. I have planned to participate in that but this summer has shaped up to be nothing that I expected it to. Maybe some other locals will chime in too. I am always up for a meet.

I am looking for someone to polish up my headlights back to the original condition or close to it, just paid 60$ to a detailer company to do it and they still suck... was mad but im on deployment so i had the wife take it in for me. Please let me know!! Im in the Jacksonville Area would gladly pay for your travel and the work!

The headlights need to be sanded and re-shot with clear if they don't polish up easily. For reference this is a before and after. I am really faraway from you though, in Greensboro . But if not me, at least someone close to you could.

If you have $20 and a power drill, you can get a kit just made for this, that has a drill bit sanding disk, the sand paper disks, rubbing compound, etc.
It took me about 90 minutes but they came out looking like new. (totally clear!)

Hey just moved down here to the Charlotte area from Maine, looking to see who's down around this way, which shops you guys use or don't use. Hope to meet some of you sometime! On the drive down I blew my water pump so i'm looking for a good shop to do it since I only did what I call a half move bringing only the bare essentials with me and not all my tools, any help is greatly appreciated
