True those are factory figures. But 335i and 335is are both under rated from the factory and actually make more.

a V6 accord has more HP than 330i and would probably give you a good run and I think even beat your 330i on a strait line. Race in the twisties is another story.

All 3 cars do.. The US engine is exactly the same in all 3 vehicles. Only difference is the ECU tune and intake mainfold, that's it. Valvetronic and Double Vanos technology is in all three car models, since they have the EXACT same engine.

As long as you drive it below the 253.52 mph top speed limit...

A few points. From what I've read, even adding the BMW Performance intake and exhaust to a 328 adds at best 15 HP. I'm sure there are other mods but making more power involves getting more air and fuel into an engine and this is ultimately limited by the size of the combustion chamber. I'm guessing BMW already does a very good job of optimizing fuel and air delivery.
Regarding 328, 330 changes... -In 2006 the high performance 3 series was the 330i which in 2007 was replaced by the 335. -Also in 2007, the 328 replaced the 325. To add another fly to the ointment, the 528 makes 240 hp and 230 lb/ft of torque. I'm not sure the differences between the two. |
