It's not that weak. 230hp used to be pretty hardcore and I'm not that old. I used to drool over F-Bodies back in the day that were around there. It's still a phenomenal car. It's just less performance-oriented than a few other cars in its model line. That's it! Chill. I never even really thought about it until I started posting here. Now, I feel like all 328i owners have some contrived anti-ant-car-hate against their bigger siblings.

They are actually pretty small turbos; however, I have no real knowledge of his penis. (neither Biblically nor scientifically)

I actually was kinda sheepish about the whole 3.0L TT set up. Coming from an NA 6.0L, the 335's tiny displacement engine actually made my donger seem larger. Then, I realized that it's all about perspective. My donger actually looks huge from the front - but, you gotta kneel down and get really close to it to understand. Closer.. closer...

-=-
Back near-topic, if the guy put enough work into his 328i to make that kinda hp... Why didn't he just get a 335i? Maybe the guy has an absurdly huge penis and wanted to do something to make it seems smaller... like rock a 328i.

They're both awesome cars. But, everyone is free to get another one. Personally, I hate M6 owners. F them. They must have even smaller cocks than I do. Clearly, I should force some type of apologist thinking on them for having something that I do not. God, Allah and George Carlin be damned... I hope they're not sitting around thinking my x35 is garbage just because it's lessor than their ride. Woe is me.

Most of the people on here don't know how to drive properly through a turn. They can go fast on a straight highway, but can take a sharp turn and come out with a higher speed then when they entered? Doubt it. BMWs were designed to do more then go straight. If you want a dragster go buy a Challenger, they are to heavy to corner.

Wait he has multiple flywheels? Man that must be one expensive setup.....

Told me his car has 280hp from a Akropovic tune and flywheels

Also why post on some random forum with a bunch people that like to flame each other because they have 335's and someone else doesn't... See how many of them come out of the woodworks when something like this is posted? Because they all feel that our cars are inferior to their's because damn they have turbos...... Sure the car has good power but it has its obvious drawbacks. The fact that BMW failed miserably at making their injectors and fuel pump is a good example.... Not to mention the car's oil cooler is completely under designed and under powered for the application. Go look up how many peoples cars go into limp mode when they try to put the car through its paces.

What I hate is the "you should have or should now go buy a 335i." They never answer me when I ask what about if I don't want FI?

A true BMW enthusiast will never race or talk trash about another BMW owner's car, we only educate; it's call respect for the brand.

Ahmad11 why not let your friend drive your car, he will realize he does not have 280HP.

Afaik, NA cars' differences stem from different ecu/intake maps and different intake manifolds.
328 = 230 HP (corrected)
I'm just saying.

hahah this crap is hilarious... i own a 325i and am planning to do a manifold swap on it + ECU tuning. this is the only way I know of gaining 55+ horses n/a. from the dyno's I found on these threads, that would give me around 210 to the wheels. and i'm pretty sure before the 18% drivetrain loss, that doesn't put the car @ 280 hahaha

Perhaps I'm wrong but I really thought a new 328 is equivalent to the old 330..

This guys is somewhat right.

In 2008 the 328 adopted the N52B30 engine found in the 330i. The 328 however doesn't have the 3 stage intake manifold and the more aggressively tuned DME. The 330i also has a different exhaust system.

325s and down have the N52 B25....2.5 liter displacement.

The newer (2008 onward) 328, adopted the N52B30 found in the 330i. However refer to my above post.
