gearshift assembly needs fixing
It looks like my steptronic is starting to fail. it will only go into D mode, even if i switch the gear over to DS or even Manual mode. Talked to the dealer and they mentioned it's most likely the gearshift assembly (with labor and parts close to 1k). I looked up the parts and it's a little over 400.00 for the gearshift assembly....is this repair/replacement something I could attempt myself?
