What sort of installs are you looking to do? If you don't plan on doing extensive installs...I'd just get a typical tool case from Sears ($30-40) and keep it in the trunk and a set of hex wrenches.

Well, I'm looking for torx screwdrivers, and basic stuff really...

Just so if I ever need to do anything, I can do it you know?

Because our cars come with nothing...

and when i want to mod something or do a DIY, i want to be able to do it without worrying about not having the right tool(s)

Why used tools?!? Go to sears, but a tool set. They aren't expensive. You own a BMW, don't be cheap about tools. Pick up some quality tools that will last a lifetime.

There, That's all you need for the most part.
Then go pick up a small torx set for like $8

Considering I will start moving around a lot, I won't be able to take everything I won around with me

I have a bunch of stuff around the garage; maybe about half of what is in that tool kit you linked me too

The reason I wanted used because I read on here about there being some really good tools being sold used.. that's where I got the idea from.

Is Sears better than say Home Depot/Osh/Autozone etc for tools?

Yes, Craftsman is one of the better brands you can find at your common store. Not quite the level of Snap-On and other tools, but unless you make money with your tools, Craftsman is more than fine. Lifetime warranty as well.

purchase a craftsman toolset as they recommended. easy to carry around. handles a lot of tasks. cheap. and lifetime warranty.

Craftsman is really good quality tools for what they cost and how easily they can be obtained from a neighborhood sears.
