Any experience with bird poop on vinyl? Will it ruin it, leave a stain that wont come out?
To be perfectly honest, there is not a big quality gap between the brands I mentioned. Of course, 3M is the best known and most used because of its marketability and different finishes available. It is also the one that people are most likely to get overcharged for.

As far as warranty, I am not 100% sure since I have never come accross this issue. I do know they have a warranty before the vinyl is installed (If there are imperfections in the material anywhere). I am not sure once it is installed though. I think there might be a short warranty but the material needs to be installed by one of their own shops and you need to have fairly new paint on the vehicle.

I have had a bird poop on my vinyl twice. First time I caught it right away and cleaned it with no stains. Second time around I didn't notice it til a while after and it did leave a bit of discoloration. Basically, clean it ASAP to avoid problems

I've gotten the following quotes to wrap roof and shark fin in gloss black (3m or avery) for my 2008 e92 335i:

Don Nguyen - $175
Impressive wraps - $200 but the guy said he can do it for $180

I would be very grateful for a contact that would do it for around $120 in orange county/ los Angeles / inland empire area.

i rather spend more than giving it to some guy who has little to no experience with bmw. definitely not worth the hassle.

Hmm do you still have the contact or a name of the person that helped you? Was this recently or a few years ago?

I just realized that there are two Impressive Wraps....one located in Laguna Hills and the other one located in El Monte....

despite of quite a few people saying that they got their roof wrapped for $100-120...still nobody is able to give out a contact that does it. Seems like $175 is the best price for a real professional job.

I'm definitely down to help you and donate $120 for the vinyl and your time because I'd love to learn. But how good are you with wrapping? any credential/reviews?

Don't have any reviews cuz I'm not making money on it - it's not my business. I bought two rolls for my own projects.
I wrapped 3 roofs and I did my full E93 wrap in matte grey (I sold the car but have photos I can e-mail) still have some matte grey left (I think it's 3M but need to double check).
