estimated PSI increase with intercooler on jb4
I am currently running map 5. I want to add an intercooler. I know what it does and how it prevents heatsoak/puts more flow. My question is that if i specifically run map 5... how much PSI does it increase on map 5. Will the autodetection pick up this intercooler and add more PSI? How much extra whp does this equate to?

You'll only see a psi increase if your turbo's are maxed out and not hitting targets, there will be less pressure differential across the intercooler now so you'll be making it easier on the turbos and engine since the core flows better. You'll get better timing from lower iat as well especially on the stock flash, the jb4 will increase boost due to lower average ignition values, probably worth 15whp give or take, more after a long run.

PSI decreases with an upgraded intercooler, not increases. Until you turn up your boost you are basically making the same power but the turbos have to work less to make it.
