MTEC v3 installed, disappointed, need a brighter solution

Hey guys,

About a month ago I bought a 2007 e92, which had the yellow rings on it. I swapped them out over the weekend for some MTEC v3's and I'm pretty disappointed with the results.

During the day time, only the inner ring is visible, and it still is not a solid ring. I guess it was my fault for expecting them to perform better, and I should have done my research.

Even at night time, they do not produce 2 solid rings. Could somebody recommend what kind of kit I would need in order to product 2 solid white rings even during day time? such as below:

For anyone wondering what MTEC v3's look like during the daytime, it's like this (not my car), outer rings not lit at all and inner ring is visible but does not create a ring by any means:

Not worth it for $200, I purchased it from the official mtec store on ebay, so I know it's a legit one.

Thanks guys

Pretty much as good as it gets with how these headlights were designed.

Yeah you're right, I had false expectations honestly because I saw pics from MTEC's on their product page, even at night the 2 rings not fully lit as shown on their product page.

Cant get full bright rings unless you go full led ring like OSS. I bet my $5 bulb is brighter than $200 led. Yes I'm sure LED will be more white but its $5 vs $200.
Spent $ on bulbs, leds, and even hids. I end up coming back to bulbs.

The stock angel eyes are designed in such a way that the outer rings are only viewable from certain angles. If you step back from the car 20-30 feet they will be fully viewable. This will happen with the stock bulb or any aftermarket bulb replacement as well. Most everyone that see's the car will be other drivers, and if they are within 1 foot of your car you have bigger problems to worry about, ha ha.

If you want a full ring like the first picture you will probably need to go with a full ring replacement, and there are a number of companies that will offer that service. The cost for a full ring replacement is around 2x the price of a bulb replacement option however

^ that.

You need to look at the lights at eye level from 30+ Ft away.

You need custom angel eyes if you are looking for vivid day time output and 100% ring output at any angle, however, it is significantly more money when going custom.

Here is our 60W from the proper distance and at eye level:
