Did you ever think about getting an M3? lol! The rumor on the board is that 2011 will be the last production year for the E9X M3.
Other then that, Audi A5/S5? C63AMG? E550? The new Jeep Cherokee SRT8 will be coming out soon (I seriously thought about that one). The Jeep is going after the title of worlds fastest SUV. It used to hold the title untill the Cyanne and X5M/X6M came out.

IMO, tough to beat the performance of a modded 335i at this altitude w/o spending a lot more money or sacrificing the back seat, driveability, reliability, etc.
Could always go with meth and/or nitrous until there are more upgraded turbos available. It may come down to whether you want more performance or just want something different. |

Actually I would call it a crossover type vehicle. I've read about the RS5 in a car magazine and it does look promising. I've always liked the RS4 but the maintenance on those suck too.

You gotta pay to play right? :-). Seriously though - nothing else can touch it for the money (at least nothing stock with a warranty). And I'm sure the after market will bring down the cost of rotors/pads significantly.

Are you more interested in having the fastest car you can get or the most fun car? Upgrading your turbos will make your car faster but it is still the same car. Dont get me wrong, I love my 335. However, I felt it was time to get a new car because I started seeing more and more wear and tear on my 335 so I thought I better get out before it gets too costly.
I was watching a bunch of M3 vs ??? reviews by C&D and places like that yesterday on youtube and even though the M3 wasn't always the fastest or best looking car, 99% of all the reviews said it was the most fun to drive. That is what I really care about.

I agree, corvettes can be lightning fast but I hear that the ride and comfort and quality is not very good. I dont know why they still have such ugly interiors.

I like the way this thread has turned... i.e. fun vs fast. Would anyone consider an E30 M3 or an E46 330 ZHP? I have not driven either but can imagine that they are fun to drive.
What about a mk VI GTI? Golf R would be a fun car but would not sell in the US at > $50k. |

993 porsche turbo? F355 Ferrari? or are 2-seaters completely out of the question. E55 AMG? Or are you looking for a brand new car, just not a new to you car? You can find used M5's for pretty good deals (E39 and E60), but maintenance will kill you.
The Panamera is officially a "4-door coupe"...what ever that means. What about waiting for the new 1M coming out next year? I anticipate keeping my 3-series for a while, but I am not one to get rid of cars unless they break...if you saw my 5-series, you would know I'm a little obsessive with trying keep things running. I think upgrading the turbos would be pretty cool...the RB Turbos look like they will be pretty sick when they come out. |

I don't think I like the look of the 1 series. My work had a 135i with the M package So I see it everyday. It's been a couple months now I still can't get use to looking at it. It looks like a 3 series that got rear ended and ran into the car in front of it. No offense to 1 series owners but not just my taste. Plus, everyone tends to think that the 1 series looks like a chicks car.
