Talking Wrapped my car @ Rhode Wraps

Hey guys,

I have been looking around for someone to wrap my car, and "down_shift" recommended me to Doug. He has a full time day job, but does part-time wrapping out of his garage. Hes done a couple of cars, and side jobs like trims and roof.

Took him a week to get my car done, and i have to say he did an amazing job. He was extremely detailed and just honestly a very genuine person. His pricing is very fair, and my car came out awesome. He can do and get any color from Hexis or 3M. I had went to him with the idea of a Matte Gray Wrap, but his connections found me an actual BMW Frozen Blue Palette which matched up perfectly with the Hexis Pitch Blue Matte.

So... Here is a picture of the ALMOST final work (missing the rear bumper. BMW's fault).

down_shift and I go way back to the Integra days and he referred me to Doug as well but I am waiting until it gets warmer for me to remove the PlastiDip on my window trim so that I can get it wrapped by Doug. Can't wait and very reasonable prices. He also quoted me for my wife's TSX but she didn't want to go through with it.

Looks great!

I have been looking for someone to do a vinyl wrap for my window trim as well! No one seems to respond to emails or just state "you wouldn't like the price". Thanks for posting I will get in touch.

I was going to save it to make an official thread, but I guess this puts it out there =)

Doug is awesome. We did the standard stuff first, roof, door trim, mirrors, rear diffuser, CSL trunk. Still deciding on the rest of the car. Can't get myself around the phrozen/matte or gloss.

You can't go wrong with Doug and his enthusiasm.

The wheels are probably painted/dipped/or powder coated. The vinyl wouldn't survive the heat generated by the wheels and brakes. Either way that car looks sexy as hell.

It is actually possible to wrap wheels as long as the spokes are wide enough to keep the vinyl on. I mean I wouldn't go time trialing on them. But for normal driving it is fine.

But those very wheels are not wrapped.

Haha i saw that trunk in his house, but either way, thanks again for the recommendation! Doug is really one of those rare ones who still put service first over profit.

Nope, they are plastidipped. All i could afford after doing the wrap, but wanted to keep up with the blue black theme!

Thanks guys for the compliments!

Very, very, very sexy!

I really need to investigate this for my "Shabby Chic" Alfa Romeo Spider. Getting it painted would involve getting the rust fixed properly, which the car is not good enough to do. I bet it would look just fine wrapped though! Not much square footage on that car either!

Looks great!! Love the frozen blue.

I've been in touch with Doug at Rhode Wraps today to get my roof and trim wrapped. Looks like it'll be towards the end of the month. I'll be sure to post pics in this thread to keep it going.
