Do the Cobb Accessports have the same VIN-locking issues that some Procedes have? The Accessports don't seem to be as popular as the latter two, so it doesn't come up in discussions as often.

i was a JB4 person for a year and a half and have no idea what your talking about.
and Cobb seems to be way more popular than procede.

Now that I think about it, it may have been something that only affected Procede devices, and they may have gotten rid of the "feature" with a recent software update.

to answer your question as best as i can....even though it seems like you dont understand it either,

i assume you meant that the procede gets locked to only 1 cars ECU.
Cobb can only be "married" to 1 car at a time.
you simply unmarry it, and are free to use it on the next car.

What I was unclear on was which companies have VIN-locks on their devices. I remember reading about the Procede units which you had to ship back and have the manufacturer "clear" for an additional charge. From your comment it sounds like the Cobb system is much simpler to swap between cars. Thanks.
