You need to go up to the peak and then the road starts to decline, turn around before the decline.

its a long drive for u mark. like 2.5-3 hours away.....almost end of long island. im going there in 2 weeks for a wedding party

If you do, don't go on the weekends between Memorial Day & Labor Day. I prefer the North Fork and visit the wineries. In fact, the NY Chapter of BMW CCA has an event out there in the Fall.

Bear Mount, if you want to take advantage of the twists you need to go early mornings, after 12pm is just to much traffic.

I'm in the mood to drive and did a quick bit of googlin'. It appears Clinton road in North Central Jersey is a popular one on the Evo forums. Supposedly haunted and visited by Satanic cults, but at the same time 10 Miles long with a supposed 250+ Curves.

I'd be down for a trip if anyone wants to go. Supposedly there's a cop out there once in awhile though.

Country roads out in Neshanic and Hillsborough are pretty nice, like River Road and out near Three Bridges. Doubt people still race on Stryker's Stretch, but it used to be a drag-strip before the cops started coming around. Any chance I get while I'm up there, I take River Rd from Raritan all the way to Amwell Rd in Hillsborough, then to Zion Rd all the way to Long Hill. Perfect Sunday morning drive!

Absolute best is Rt 7 on west side CT. Go there early in the morning, and prepare to be entertained for at least an hour straight.
