New 3 Series
Does anyone know when the new 3 series is due in the showrooms?
The current E90 has now been out 6 years with one facelift. A new one must be due out soon. Am thinking of a new motor and dont want to do anything silly like! |

We have a dedicated forum for the car now thats nicely populating with info: http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=305
As it stands, the timetable for this car has been accelerated (due to the strong C-Class sales the last 2 years) and will likely be fully revealed this coming November (with hints that it may happen in London to dovetail with the Olympics), with actual sales usually starting shortly after. Hope this helps! |

Rather like the photos of what might be! Long time to wait to at least the start of 2012. My motor will then be 2 1/2 years old.
So could now be thinking of the 5 series, which I understand is a good drive. Also, for what you get good value for money. The 320D price seems not far off the same as the current 3 series. Been thinking of a Merc, but am not that old! A4? Nah! Too much front overhang! XF? Nice drive and OK for Mr Big, but am not Mr Big! Many thanks for the pics and your comments! Cheers! |

Nooooo - not the return of the moustache!
Well if all indications are to go by, I will never own one - it's going to be too big and won't fit in the garage - I only have 5" to spare now Perhaps a new 1 Series Touring will be along sometime soon |

I might now be tempted to hang on awhile, as for 'overall' looks I rather like this car and there will no doubt be other improvements, even if the 320D engine remains much the same. It may be well worthwhile, if the new 5 series is anything to go by! Cheers! |

"Nostrils" a bit large and wish they'd cut the bonnet "Klingon" creases which look fussy but generally looks good.
Now that really will beat the living cr4p out of our resale values even on "fully loaded" cars Oh well, better just enjoy them for now! |

And re: the C Class. I've also heard that the bottom is dropping out of the used market because they've been pushed so hard by Mercedes. Residuals have gone to shit apparently. How true that is I don't know. They do seem awfully common. Not quite as common as the 3er but common nonetheless |
