320d (2006) Rattle when clutch depressed

Just thought I would run this by the masses before it gets booked in for an inspection.

When you depress the clutch at 30% of the way down it rattles then stops rattling when the pedal hits the floor. It sounds like what a single mass flywheel conversaion does. This is really annoying and the clutch is showing no signs of significant wear.

Anyone experienced this? Really cant see how it is the DMF although I have noticed a faint vibration on idle through the car.

Thanks in advance
